Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026: Ajmera Fashion Brings Surat’s Textile Industry to the National Stage

Surat (Gujarat) [India], August 17: The Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from August 12 to 15, emerged as a historic opportunity for Surat’s textile industry, where Ajmera Fashion marked a strong presence.

Under the leadership of the company’s Founder and CEO, Mr Ajay Ajmera, Ajmera Fashion brought together more than 60 traders from Surat on this national platform, where every trader got an opportunity to display their products, make new connections and take their businesses to the national and international levels. The Ajmera Fashion pavilion was the largest pavilion from the textile sector at the festival, with a separate display arrangement for each participating trader.

During the festival, the Ajmera pavilion became a centre of attraction for several dignitaries. Delhi Chief Minister Mrs Rekha Gupta and CAIT National General Secretary and Member of Parliament Mr Praveen Khandelwal visited the stall and appreciated Surat’s craftsmanship. In addition, foreign delegates and buyers who came from several countries also showed keen interest in products from Surat.

Over these four days, a large number of people also sought information about Ajmera Fashion’s franchise brands, Ajmera Trends and Little Wings. Relatives of Indians living abroad also visited the stall and sought guidance on connecting their children with the business.

The presence of Mr Ajay Ajmera was a special attraction at the festival. People from different parts of the country came to meet him and seek his guidance. News channels also conducted prominent interviews with him.

For Ajmera Fashion, the event was not just an exhibition but also a major experience and learning opportunity. For Surat’s textile sector, this achievement will remain a memorable milestone, where one company presented the collective strength of the entire industry on a national platform.
